JOJO magazine 2024 WINTER releases next month on December 18, 2024 in Japan. The Ultra Jump December 2024 issue that released today revealed the upcoming works and features the magazine will include.
JOJO magazine 2024 WINTER Contents
The issue will contain 304 pages, making it the largest release so far. In comparison, 2022 SPRING was 232 pages, 2022 WINTER was 248 pages, and 2023 WINTER was 288 pages. Like the previous three issues, this features a new cover drawn by Hirohiko Araki and a special set of two stickers. The digital version will also release at the same time.
The cover features an illustration of La Squadra Esecuzioni (also known as the Hitman Team or Assassination Team). This includes Risotto Nero, Prosciutto, Pesci, Formaggio, Melone, Illuso, Ghiaccio, Sorbet, and Gelato.
Special Feature: All About the Assassination Team
A 65 page feature based on La Squadra Esecuzioni including 12 different topics. This includes responses to a survey they held from September 9 to September 23, 2024.
My Prized Hook and Line
My Prized Hook and Line (オレ自慢の針と糸) is a novel/short story starring Pesci and Prosciutto. The author is Yoshihito Okita, whose previous work is as the author of the manga Jisatsu Hōjo, which was serialized in Shonen Jump+ from May 29, 2020 to September 18, 2020.
In an interview, Okita stated he was particularly inspired by JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure for his stories, and it’s one of his favorite manga. His favorite arc was Highway Star‘s from Part 4 and the beetle fight against Jobin Higashikata from JoJolion. His favorite parts are Part 4 and Part 7.
Toshikazu Hazamada’s Questionable Adventure
Toshikazu Hazamada’s Questionable Adventure ((間田敏和の微妙な冒険) is a new one-shot manga starring Toshikazu Hazamada from Part 4, Diamond is Unbreakable. The manga artist is Kyosuke Usuta, whose best known works are Sexy Commando Gaiden and Pyu to Fuku! Jaguar. Both manga were published in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1995 to 1997 and 2000 to 2010 respectively.
Usuta also drew the protagonists of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure from Parts 1-8 for the 25th anniversary book in 2012.
Cool Shock Young B.T. – The Smoker Under Arms Incident
The creator duo from the Cool Shock Old B.T. spin-off returns in Cool Shock Young B.T. – The Smoker Under Arms Incident (魔好青年ビーティー 武装スモーカー事件), a new spin-off one-shot manga of Hirohiko Araki’s original Cool Shock B.T. series. Nisio Isin is the author and Posuka Demizu is the illustrator.
Cool Shock Old B.T. is a spin-off that took place 60 years later in the first chapter and another 12 years after that in the second chapter. Cool Shock B.T. was Hirohiko Araki’s first weekly serialization in 1983, before he began JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Both chapters of Cool Shock Old B.T. were filled with several references to the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series and Araki’s other works. The previous chapter which released in last year’s JOJO magazine was a parody of Araki’s Say Hi to Virginia one-shot manga.
The new spin-off goes back in time to B.T. and Koichi Mugikari’s teenage days and will parody Araki’s Poker Under Arms one-shot manga.

A 78 page feature based on all of the women throughout JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure including 14 different topics.
Ha Yeon-soo Interview
A photo shoot and interview with Ha Yeon-soo, a South Korean actress who is in the Japanese TV drama The Tiger and Her Wings on NHK.
Ha Yeon-soo went to Japan in 2022 to study law. In a previous interview, she stated she learned Japanese through JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and her favorite character is Jolyne Cujoh.
Hirohiko Araki’s Manga Techniques – Continued Extra Talk
Additional words from Hirohiko Araki after his new book, Hirohiko Araki’s New Manga Techniques, was published on November 15, 2024.
Chapters of the book were previously published in JOJO magazine 2022 WINTER and 2023 WINTER, but the book’s individual release includes changes and additions.
Sticker Set
There are two sets of stickers included with the physical edition of the magazine. One features the women of JoJo and the other features the new art of La Squadra Esecuzioni from the cover.
