Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan Episode 12: Bruschetta, JOJO magazine 2025 SUMMER, the third volume of TSKR, and more release in April and May 2025.

2025 is packed with Rohan Kishibe, with new works starring most people’s favorite manga artist (or hated, in Josuke‘s case) releasing back-to-back.

In addition to a new Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan chapter by Hirohiko Araki, a Weekly Shonen Jump-sized book full of Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan chapters, the third volume of Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan, a Summer 2025 issue of JOJO magazine with a Rohan special feature and short story, and the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan: At a Confessional film will all be releasing in April and May 2025.

Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan – Episode 12: Bruschetta

It has been three years since the last chapter of Araki’s Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan series released. Episode #11: “Drip Painting Style” released on April 19 and May 19, 2022 in Ultra Jump. Now, Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan Episode #12: “Bruschetta” (岸辺露伴は動かない エピソード#12 ブルスケッタ), will be releasing next month while Part 9 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, The JOJOLands, goes on break for the month.

The new one-shot chapter will be 51 pages, which Araki is currently in the process of drawing. It will be published in the May 2025 issue of Ultra Jump, releasing on April 18, 2025.

The preview in this month’s Ultra Jump shows two storyboard pages drawn by Araki. Araki also commented “I’m currently working on a brand new Rohan chapter. Expect it to be 51 pages.”

It will likely include Episode #10: “Hot Summer Martha“, Episode #11: “Drip Painting Style“, and the new Episode #12: “Bruschetta”. The previous volume of the series released on July 19, 2018.

Rohan Kishibe Jump

A new book full of Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan chapters in the size of a Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will be releasing on May 16, 2025. “Rohan Kishibe Jump” (岸辺露伴ジャンプ) will include the chapters that were adapted in the live action TV drama’s episodes. The opening color pages feature Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe Episode #16: At a Confessional, with the color pages faithfully reproduced in full color. The book also includes the “Kushagara” short story written by Ballad Kitaguni.

JOJO magazine 2025 SUMMER

The fifth issue of JOJO magazine will be releasing on May 23, 2025, coinciding with the release of the At a Confessional film. This time the magazine will have a special feature of Rohan content that is over 70 pages. Some of its contents include an original artwork or manuscript gallery of the At a Confessional chapter, details on the At a Confessional film, a new Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan short story (novel), and more.

In addition, it will include a full record of Hirohiko Araki ~The Map of Creation~, a talk show that Araki held at Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum on March 15, 2025.

About Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan

Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan is a spin-off of Hirohiko Araki‘s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series. It is an ongoing series of one-shots featuring the titular character, Rohan Kishibe, from Diamond is Unbreakable. Rohan serves as the narrator and/or the protagonist depending on the story. These one-shots are intermittently published in various magazines such as Weekly Shonen Jump, Jump Square, or Ultra Jump.

Using his special ability “Heaven’s Door” that can read the history and secrets of whoever he chooses and write commands into them, Rohan experiences strange incidents and encounters mysterious phenomena.

The series has spawned an OVA adaptation, a collection of short stories, and a live action TV drama adaptation that airs on NHK. The TV drama currently has nine episodes and a film released. They are available to watch on Amazon Prime in certain countries.
