Warner Bros. Japan Apologizes for Typos Found in Stone Ocean Blu-Ray Box Set

On June 29, 2023, Warner Bros. Japan issued an apology notice on the official Stone Ocean anime website regarding typographical errors recently found in the booklets included in the third Stone Ocean Blu-ray box set and the first Golden Wind Blu-ray box set.

We would like to thank you for your continued support and patronage. Regrettably, we have identified typos in the first edition of the "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Blu-ray BOX 3," released on May 31, 2023, and the first edition of the "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind Blu-ray BOX 1," released on August 31, 2022.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by these misprints and assure you that we are taking immediate action to prevent such errors in the future. Your understanding and cooperation in this matter are greatly appreciated.

The affected products are as follows:

These typos were first posted on June 2, 2023, which led to disappointment and frustration among fans. Warner Bros. Japan is now urging customers who purchased the affected box sets to contact their support center to request replacement booklets that have had the misprints corrected.

About Stone Ocean

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean is the fifth season of the animated adaptation of Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga. It adapts the sixth part of the series. Stone Ocean takes place in 2011, Florida. After being framed for murder, Jolyne Cujoh, daughter of Jotaro, is sentenced to a maximum security prison. DIO’s followers and other Stand users target her but she makes new allies during her time there.

Netflix released the first 12 episodes on December 1, 2021. Episodes 13-24 released on September 1, 2022. The final 14 episodes released on December 1, 2022. There are 38 episodes in total.
