They hold an annual congress throughout various cities in Japan. Researchers gather to share the latest developments in surgical techniques, research findings, and advancements in patient care. It typically includes a variety of sessions such as keynote lectures, symposiums, panel discussions, and poster presentations. The 124th annual congress is currently ongoing from April 18 to 20, 2024 at Aichi Sky Expo.
Next year, the 125th annual congress is being held at the Sendai International Center from April 10 to 12, 2025. Sendai is the hometown of Hirohiko Araki, the creator of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series. Araki drew a poster to advertise the event, which is located in an exhibition room in the conference venue.
