Several photos of the actors performing in Toho’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood musical have surfaced online. Toho also uploaded a trailer on their YouTube channel. The gallery below depicts several recognizable scenes from the series and new characters that haven’t been seen online before like Danny (played by Hiromu Kudo), Bruford (played by Ryo Ikeda), and Tarkus (played by Shodai Moriuchi).
There are also photos of the Ripple (Hamon) Crew. These actors perform the effects of the Ripple attacks like Jonathan Joestar‘s Zoom Punch.
The Phantom Blood musical was written by Tsuneyasu Motoyoshi, directed by Ney Hasegawa, and composed by Dove Attia (co-composed by Rod Janois). It premiered on February 12, 2024 in Japan at the Imperial Theater in Tokyo.

About Phantom Blood
Phantom Blood is the first part of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series. Shueisha serialized the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump from December 1986 to October 1987.
The story follows Jonathan Joestar as he matures with and eventually battles his adoptive brother, the cunning and merciless Dio Brando.
An anime adaptation of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure released starting from October 2012. Season 1 covers Phantom Blood in its first 9 episodes.
Musical
The musical was announced on June 1, 2023. The trailer was uploaded on November 16, 2023. It will be live streamed on April 13 and April 14, 2024.
