JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Has Printed 120,000,000 Copies

Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga has reached 120,000,000 copies in circulation as of December 2021.

Announced in the NHK program “My Rohan Kishibe Talk” (私の岸辺露伴語り Watashi no Kishibe Rohan Katari), Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga has reached 120,000,000 copies in circulation as of December 2021. The program was a talk show starring Issey Takahashi, Rio Uchida, Yasuko Kobayashi, and Sayawaka. It aired on NHK G on Saturday, December 18, 2021.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure started with the first part Phantom Blood in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in December 1986. It’s divided into eight parts, with the ninth part just announced. So far, the series has released 131 tankobon volumes among all eight parts.

Previously, the Hirohiko Araki official website reported that the series had printed 100,000,000 copies on December 16, 2016. At that time, JoJolion was just releasing its 14th volume.
