“Escape from JoJo’s Bizarre Nightmare” Stone Ocean Escape Room Announced

An escape room based on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, “Escape from JoJo’s Bizarre Nightmare” starts in Japan in October 2023.

SCRAP and the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure SO Production Committee have announced a new escape room in Japan based on the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series. This time, it is themed after the sixth part of the series and the fifth season of the anime, Stone Ocean.

This is the fourth escape room for the series. The previous ones were “Escape from JoJo’s Bizarre Amusement Park” based on Part 4, “Escape from JoJo’s Bizarre Mansion” based on Part 3, and “Escape from JoJo’s Bizarre Museum” based on Part 5. They took place in 2017, 2018, and 2020. The events were participated in by over 100,000 people.

Like the Part 3 and 5 events which featured original main antagonists, Dija Maker and Scatola, this escape room will also have its own original antagonist and story.

Summary

In the midst of a drive with her boyfriend, Jolyne Cujoh encounters a traffic accident. Framed for a crime she didn’t commit, she is sentenced to a 15-year prison term. Her place of confinement? The state-run Green Dolphin Street Prison.

There she meets Ermes Costello, Weather Report, and Narciso Anasui. While chasing the shadow of the mysterious Stand known as “Whitesnake,” they continuously battle against other Stand users within the prison.

An enigmatic voice echoes through the prison, declaring, “This is the dream world I’ve created. I’ll have you all sleep for eternity!” Following this proclamation, the four find themselves trapped in a single room within the prison. However, the very space around them warps and twists, bearing no resemblance to the reality they once knew.

Who is the Stand user launching these attacks? How can they escape from this dreamlike world? Unravel all the mysteries and find a way out of this dire situation!

Game Style

The number of participants is a maximum of 4 people within 1 team, though you can also take the challenge alone. There’s a time limit of 60 minutes to solve the puzzles, but the total estimated duration of the event is 120 minutes. It takes place indoors.
