The JOJOLands Listed in ‘Kono Manga ga Sugoi!’ 2024 Rankings for Male Readers

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 9: The JOJOLands ranks in top 20 for male readers in the 2024 rankings of the “Kono Manga ga Sugoi!” magazine.

The ongoing ninth part of Hirohiko ArakiHirohiko ArakiHirohiko ArakiHirohiko Araki, born Toshiyuki Araki, is a Japanese manga artist and the author of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The JOJOLands is tied in 15th place alongside Ice Castle Wall (Koori no Jouheki). This is the second time that JoJo has ranked in the magazine overall. The first time was in the 2013 issue, where the eighth part, JoJolionJoJolionJoJolionJoJolion is the eighth part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, serialized in Ultra Jump from May 19, 2011, to August 19, 2021. The part won the Grand Prize for manga at the 2013 Japan Media Arts Festival. In 2021, Araki won the Iwate Hometown Special Manga Award for Part 8 and..., ranked in 12th place for male readers.

Kono Manga ga Sugoi! is an annual series published by Takarajimasha since 2005, presenting yearly rankings and reviews of manga. A similar series by the same publisher, Kono Mystery ga Sugoi!, featured an interview with Hirohiko Araki last year.
