Megan Thee Stallion Cosplays as Bruno Bucciarati for Anime Awards 2024

Megan Thee Stallion dressed as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 5 character, Bruno Bucciarati, while presenting in Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024.

On March 2, 2024, Megan Thee Stallion presented the Anime of the Year award at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024.

She arrived dressed to the occasion wearing a hairstyle and dress inspired by the character Bruno Bucciarati from the fifth part of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series, Golden Wind (also known as Vento Aureo).

Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024 judged anime that released between October 2022 to September 2023. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean was not nominated this year, though it had several nominations in the previous year.

Megan Thee Stallion comes on stage at 2:22:13 in the stream. The winner of the award was revealed to be Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. Fittingly, Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen shares the same Japanese voice actor as Bruno Bucciarati, Yuichi Nakamura.

When asked which characters she would pick as backup dancers, she stated “Off the top, I’m picking people from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure because they got all the style and they be—just got all the swag, so I’mma pick Jotaro Kujo, and I’mma pick Bucciarati. Cuz my boy be moving.”
