Bandai Namco’s arcade game JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Last Survivor is adding Kosaku Kawajiri (Yoshikage Kira) from the fourth part of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series, Diamond is Unbreakable, as a playable character.
The official Last Survivor YouTube channel announced Kira’s disguised form in a live stream on November 25, 2023, during the “Solo Survivor Championship 2023”. The update that will make him playable releases later on December 6, 2023.
Before Kosaku, Muhammad Avdol joined the roster on September 6, 2023. Kira’s regular form joined the roster on August 5, 2020 as the second character to join the game in an update post-launch.
Moveset
Kosaku Kira’s skills are “Killer Rush” and “Air Bullet”. Killer Rush has Killer Queen charge toward the enemy with a punch rush. Air Bullet uses Stray Cat to fire explosive bubbles. The bubbles are invisible to the enemy, and the player can change their trajectory by looking at them.
His ultimate skill is “Bites the Dust”, allowing the player to rewind time when their health reaches 0, recovering their shield and health. It will not activate if time is stopped or the damage occurs in an area where respawning is not possible. When reviving, all players’ positions rewind to where they were a few seconds ago.
