JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Nominated for 26th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards

Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is nominated for Best Fighting Game in the 2023 D.I.C.E. Awards.

The 26th annual D.I.C.E. Awards includes JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R from Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 as one of the final nominees for Fighting Game of the Year in 2022. The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) announced the nominees on January 12, 2023.

The full list of nominees for the Fighting Game of the Year category are:

  • JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R
  • MultiVersus
  • Rumbleverse
  • SpiderHeck
  • The King of Fighters XV

The D.I.C.E. Awards began in May 1998. This year’s awards includes a total of 61 games released in 2022 as the nominees. The full list of nominees can be seen here.

A special 26th anniversary edition of the D.I.C.E. Awards ceremony on Thursday, February 23, 2023 will reveal the winners. IGN will livestream the event from Resorts World in Las Vegas.

All-Star Battle R was previously nominated for Best Fighting Game in The Game Awards 2022 as well, but MultiVersus took the prize.

About JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R released on September 1 on PC and on September 2, 2022 on consoles. It is a remaster of the original game which released on August 29, 2013 in Japan as a PlayStation 3 exclusive in commemoration of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure‘s 25th anniversary. The original game released on April 25, 2014 in Europe and four days after that in North America.

ASBR includes over 50 characters and commemorates the 35th anniversary of the series, as well as the anime’s 10th anniversary. It is available on Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S, and Nintendo Switch.
